B.I.G. Etching Ground - Red

Baldwin's Ink Ground (aka B.I.G.) is a non-toxic alternative to traditional etching grounds. This ground is extremely versatile and can be used when experimenting with a range of techniques such as soft and hard ground, photo etching, marbling, relief etching, sandpaper aquatints and coffee lift. Created by Andrew Baldwin of the Trefeglwys Printmakers Studio, this ground is made by a printmaker for printmakers. The red and black grounds both work in the same way and can be applied in a thin layer with a roller.
