Handprinted Baren

This 3D printed ball bearing baren can be used instead of a press for relief printing. This baren is simple to use and has smooth movement requiring little effort. Recommended for papers up to 250gsm.

Ideally, use a piece of grease-proof paper between the baren and your printing paper to stop paper pilling and to protect the ball bearings from loose paper fibres.

116mm in diameter with approximately 107 ball bearings of 6mm diameter.
